From the highlands of Kokose Village in the Bensa District of Sidama, where roughly 500 smallholder producers tend their land at 1,800 to 1,960 metres above sea level, comes a coffee that is gloriously, unapologetically loud. This isn't a cup for the faint of heart. This is a natural process Landrace that demands your attention.

The cherries are hand-picked and dried slowly on raised beds under the Ethiopian sun, allowing the fruit to marinate into the bean. The result is a profile so decadent it borders on a dessert cart: rich, chocolate-covered cherries, deep stewed red fruits, and a jammy sweetness that coats the palate. But just when you think it's all sugar and syrup, a bright, elegant lift of bergamot sweeps in to keep things dangerously interesting.
