The pristine landscapes and diverse culture of Nicaragua are stained with the blood of conquest and the glory of revolution. The perpetual war between the people and those that seek to rule them, has turned the production of coffee into an everyday act of resistance. Whether it's amongst the volatility of volcanoes or in the wilds of the jungle – Nicaraguan coffee is made by the people, for the people. And yet - despite the success of these local coffee producers - the powers that be continue to remain thirsty for more - exploiting their people, their work and their passion - and this makes us real f*#@kin' angry.
